No amount of rain can stop this lovely couple to say their I do’s.
It was rainy day during Sarah & Sam wedding that they had to transfer the ceremony from the outdoor garden of HartHouse at University of Toronto to one of the indoor hall.
Rain on wedding day as many says is a good luck. Read an article on the The Pink Bride blog which says rain represents many things in different cultures, most of which include fertility, cleansing, unity, renewal, and last tears. As you know, a knot that becomes wet is extremely hard to untie – therefore, when you “tie the knot” on a rainy day, your marriage is supposedly just as hard to unravel! We can thank Hindu traditions for this belief.
Ceremony Location: HartHouse at University of Toronto | Reception: Delta Chelsea Toronto
