Lakeside Resort Wedding at Bald Mountain Camp

Mother nature decided to join Genevieve’s and Spencer wedding. She came with gifts of rain and a little bit of wind.

There’s a saying that rain on wedding is considered to be lucky. Italians even have a saying for it, “Sposa bagnata, sposa fortunata”, which means that a wet bride is a lucky bride. This is perhaps rain is associated with a bountiful harvest, and thus, fertility. Some even believe that the rainier the wedding day, the more children the marriage will produce. Go Genevieve and Spencer!

Wait a minute, it’s pouring cats and dogs on our wedding day! So it means….c”,)

The bride and groom were radiating with so much love and joy, the bridal party and guest were warm and friendly, that kind of crowd makes you forget that the sky looks gloom and raining.

The details were just a delight, and it’s DYI! Anj had a blast photographing it.

Autumn and Pumpkins

For us, autumn is just right time of a year for an engagement session. Where the lights are subdued, and the colorful autumn leaves are just delight to the eyes.

And in autumn, you should not miss pumpkins.

A Trip to Johnson Hall

It was the first day of the year.

It feels bit weird and unusual seeing no snow in sight. Makes me want to sing, “I’m dreaming of a white ~~Christmas~~ New Year…”

It was our second time at this diner; we came back because we love their breakfast special and corn beef.

Just a mile north of Maine’s Dinner is Johnson Hall Museum. Several times we pass by this area and every time we say to ourselves that we should stop and check see the place.

And this time we did.

To our surprise, Bill (the owner) was there to greet us. He gives us a tour of the area. As we move from room to room, it felt being transported back in time. Each room contains different collections, and he cheerfully shares a bit of history and stories of some of the items.

The collections and the place wowed us.

We love things that are something new and something different. We were so inspired of what we saw that we decided to return this summer for a styled photo shoot. Exciting!
