  • About Us:

Litrato Studio is passionate about creating visually fabulous and stylish photography for weddings, engagements, family and children portraits.

We are a husband and wife team: Anj’s keen eye for detail and photo-styling blends perfectly with Ed’s documentary and editorial style to provide complete and stylish storytelling.

Lively, playful and natural looking images with a spice of modern yet timeless feel is what we aim for.

Autumn and Pumpkins

For us, autumn is just right time of a year for an engagement session. Where the lights are subdued, and the colorful autumn leaves are just delight to the eyes.

And in autumn, you should not miss pumpkins.

Meet this beautiful couple, Samantha and David

Location: Pineland Farms and Intervale Farms, New Gloucester, Maine

We are excited to photograph their wedding this summer.

Very nice gallery from this studio, it captured the couple in their most intimate and happy moment.

A Trip to Johnson Hall

It was the first day of the year.

It feels bit weird and unusual seeing no snow in sight. Makes me want to sing, “I’m dreaming of a white Christmas New Year…”

It was our second time at this diner; we came back because we love their breakfast special and corn beef.

Just a mile north of Maine’s Dinner is Johnson Hall Museum. Several times we pass by this area and every time we say to ourselves that we should stop and check see the place.

And this time we did.

To our surprise, Bill (the owner) was there to greet us. He gives us a tour of the area. As we move from room to room, it felt being transported back in time. Each room contains different collections, and he cheerfully shares a bit of history and stories of some of the items.

The collections and the place wowed us.

We love things that are something new and something different. We were so inspired of what we saw that we decided to return this summer for a styled photo shoot. Exciting!

The Journey Starts Here!

Welcome to Litrato Studio!  Though we been creating images for several years, this post was our first in the world of blogging.

Anj and Ed,

Congratulations on your new business. The pictures you have taken look terrific, really seem to capture the moment and are truly unique.

From our own experience with Anj, she would have been our favorite photographer in Calgary, since she’s now working out of Toronto, she’s now our favorite photographers in Canada =).

Best of luck from the both of us.

Thank you Benson and vhic! My journey just started with Ed at this time. I still have to show more and share my way of styling. Can’t wait to show it soon! Again, thanks so much for believing me! :)
